The church will be opened for Morning Prayer and for private prayer as follows:
WEDNESDAYS
9.30-10 am Open for private prayer
10-10.30am Morning Prayer will be led from the front
10.30am-11am Open for Private Prayer
We will operate this as a book in advance service.
The maximum number of people that can attend for the whole morning is 36 (21 single seats and 5 sofas for up to 3 adults from the same household). If more than that number wish to attend, stewards may have to close the church before 11am.
We will be operating a one way system and you will be directed to seats in order, you will not be able to select your seat.
You must observe good hygiene both on entry, during and while exiting the church. Hand sanitiser is provided and the toilets will be available for hand washing. Please try to minimise the number of surfaces that you touch so that we minimise the amount of cleaning that the stewards need to do at the end.
Please do not attend
- if you are unwell
- if you display symptoms
- if you have an underlying condition that makes you vulnerable (as outlined by Government guidance)
- if you are vulnerable to Covid for any other reason
You will be asked to supply name and contact information. This will be held as a record of your attendance for NHS test and trace and will be destroyed securely after 3 weeks.
Facemasks - face coverings are mandatory in Places of Worship and church halls from 8
th
August. Remembering that they are mainly intended to protect other people, not the wearer, from coronavirus COVID-19 and that
they are not a replacement for physical distancing and regular hand washing.
There are no items left out in church therefore if you want a bible you will need to bring your own.
Please do not move chairs from their allocated locations. Even if you come with someone from the same household or bubble you will be asked to sit 2 metres apart. Please also remain 2 metres apart from people not in your household or bubble while moving around the church building.
You will be asked to enter by the main doors into the Foyer and leave by the oak doors into the car park. In this way we will all move in a single file to maintain distance.
Despite all of the above, if you do decide to come….God will be glorified by your presence and you will be blessed by him!
Morning Prayer is also available online as follows:
Monday Zoom meeting (contact office for details)
Tuesday 9.15am on Face Book Live on Christ Church Collective and posted for viewing afterwards.
