The Evangelical Alliance is made up of hundreds of organisations, thousands of churches and tens of thousands of individuals, joined together for the sake of the gospel. Representing our members since 1846, the Evangelical Alliance is the oldest and largest evangelical unity movement in the UK.
United in mission and voice, we exist to serve and strengthen the work of the church in our communities and throughout society. Highlighting the significant opportunities and challenges facing the church today, we work together to resource Christians so that they are able to act upon their faith in Jesus, to speak up for the gospel, justice and freedom in their areas of influence.
Recent initiatives include:
Great Commission – online resource hub for sharing Jesus.
Changing Church – resources and research for facing the pandemic
Being Human – podcast series to equip Christians in the biblical vision of humanity.
Public Leadership – equipping Christians in public square to be a voice for God.
Speak Up – building confidence in our gospel freedoms.
The Young Adults Conversation – equipping the church to reach and keep a “missing generation”.
Our speaker on 23rd January is Phil Knox (Head of Mission to Young Adults) and we look forward to welcoming him and hearing about the work of the Evangelical Alliance, how we can get involved and what we can be praying for them as they support churches.
